Masks use compulsory on AK public transport, nationwide flights

From First Up, 5:53 am on 17 November 2020

Masks will be compulsory on all public transport in Auckland and on all domestic flights from 11.59 tomorrow night. Cabinet made the decision yesterday following a community infection scare in Auckland last week after an AUT student who also worked in a Central City Retail store, tested positive for the virus after visiting multiple locations. But University of Otago Epidemiologist Michael Baker says the move doesn't go far enough. He believes masks should be compulsory on public transport throughout the country including ubers and taxis.
