The mayor of Kaikōura is welcoming new money for his town today, but says more will be needed if it is going to bounce back from the fallout from Covid-19.
The Prime Minister and Tourism Minister flew in to the tourist destination on Wednesday to announce $1.5 million for its most famous attraction Whale Watch.
