New Zealanders woke up on Tuesday morning living in one of eight countries, free from Covid-19.

There was relief and joy around the country with people no longer required to social distance after more than 100 days of lockdown, 18 days of no cases and the first day of no active cases.

There are no longer limits on gathering sizes and hospitality venues are back to normal.
