Calm down and shop normally! That's the message from supermarket owners today as they rush to assure New Zealanders there is more than enough food in the country.
Shoppers have encountered empty shelves over the past week, as panic buying broke out as the Covid-19 cases rose and people tried to stock up.
On Friday the major supermarket chains joined forces to spread the word that they have more than enough stock, they just can't get it into the store as fast as it is flying out the door.
