Sara Vui-Talitu

Sara Vui-Talitu is a senior broadcast journalist who is the producer/presenter of Voices, a programme that promotes a deeper understanding of our diverse ethnic communities by presenting their voices to New Zealand.

She brings her wealth of reporting experience and interests to this role and networks from the Pacific and Asia region. Previously as RNZ Pacific’s host of Dateline Pacific and Tagata o te Moana, Sara has covered a range of key issues facing Pacific populations both domestically and in the region. 

Sara has also won a prestigious Qantas Media award for her work in the Pacific and her reporting interests also included issues in politics, environment, women, business, and the arts. She completed her post-graduate diploma in journalism at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch and has a Master of Arts and Master of Creative Writing degrees both from the University of Auckland.
