Abuse in Care Royal Comm of Inquiry seeks Pasifika stories

From Pacific Waves

The Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry will hold its first Pacific people's investigation public hearing in July.

The Pacific Investigation Team established last year in November encourages Pacific survivors to come forward and engage with the Royal Commission.

Their hope is that by sharing the survivors' stories, we'll be able to learn from the experiences and make a transformative change, so that future Pasifika generations don't experience abuse in state or faith-based care.
