The media director of Vanuatu's Daily Post newspaper, Dan McGarry, is prepared to seek a judicial review after his work permit was rejected.
Mr McGarry, a Canadian who has lived in Vanuatu for 16 years, had his application to renew his work permit turned down by the country's Labour Department last week.
He told Don Wiseman why he believed the government had acted the way it had.
