While governments have vowed to help lift their people out of poverty, a United Nations report says people in the Asia-Pacific region need better social protections.
Kaveh Zahedi from the the Economic and Social Commission on Asia and the Pacific, or ESCAP, says governments in the region are not investing enough in their people.
