A security analyst says the discovery of large hauls of cocaine in Fiji and Tonga will barely dent the supply being smuggled across the Pacific.
US$15 million worth of cocaine was recently seized in Fiji, while Tonga police seized 58 kilograms of the drug in Ha'apai.
Security researcher, Jose Sousa-Santos told Jamie Tahana the haul is probably small in the scheme of Pacific transnational crime.
