Pacific NGOs to embrace spirituality in their work

From , 6:03 am on 14 November 2016

There is a call for non-government organisations working in the Pacific to recognise the importance of spirituality in the region, and to build this knowledge into their programmes.

The Pacific Islands Assocation of NGOs, or PIANGO, governing council meets this week, and just ahead of that it met with its Polynesian members.

PIANGO's executive director, Emele Duituturaga, told Don Wiseman what research, conducted in the Pacific on the work NGOs do, shows.
