Funding from the UN's Population Fund is helping 16 districts plan and receive health care based on their particular community needs.

A range of Samoan agencies including the Cancer Society, the Red Cross and the poolice are helping to deliver health screening and education sessions.

Lefaga and Faleaseela was the first district to conduct a programme through this initiative last week and sessions will keep running through into November throughout Samoa.
