Police in Papua New Guinea have arrested two men suspected of sea piracy and murder.
The police say a sea captain from Manus, Malakai Sijou, was attacked by five men earlier this month as he was travelling in a dinghy at Motukea in the National Capital District.
He was thrown overboard and the men, also travelling in a dinghy, made off with the captain's outboard motor.
Captain Sijou swam to shore for help but died before rescuers reached him.
Police are appealing to the public for further information.
