The Post Courier reports students waited in vain as most lecturers failed to turn up.
President of the National Academic Staff Association Emmanuel Gorea said the lecturers were owed a 7.4 percent salary increase in 2014.
Student Joshua John told the Post Courier lecturers had not turned up since Monday and he appealed for a quick resolution to the matter as there was lot to cover to make-up for student unrest last year.
The paper reported the staff association met yesterday on the issue.
