A 14 year-old in Samoa has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old according to Samoa police.
Samoa police have confirmed the death of the 16-year-old boy followed an argument allegedly fuelled by messages on Facebook.
Talamua Online has reported the 14-year-old boy has been charged with murder, and that a stone was allegedly used as a weapon.
Police spokesman Maotaoali'i Kaioneta said the incident occurred last weekend and police were waiting on an autopsy result to confirm the cause of death.
Talamua said police in Samoa have identified social media as the cause of recent student brawls, which were incited by messages on Facebook and other social media platforms.
