Bank customers in the Northern Marianas formed long queues today after reports some accounts had apparently been hacked.

The problems were at the First Hawaiian Bank which has confirmed several accounts were affected by unauthorised transactions.
The bank says it is aware of the apparent hack of its system and is working to minimise the impact.
It wants customers to check any recent transactions.
And it says customers would not be liable for any fraudulent activity on their accounts.
