Families still living in tents in Tonga after Winston

Seventeen families in Tonga's islands of Vava'u are still living in tents after Cyclone Winston, which struck a week and a half ago.

Radio Tonga reports the affected families are from Feletoa, Ha'alaufuli, Tu'anekivale, 'Utu-langivaka,Okoa, Pangaimotu and Mataika.

The local governor's office said the families were left homeless after Winston.

Damage recorded included rooftops blown away and houses being flooded.

There were no casualties from the storm in Tonga.
