Sport: PNG Pepes keep winning

Papua New Guinea made it three wins from three last night at the Nations Cup netball tournament in Singapore, beating Botswana to remain atop the standings.

The Pepes recovered from a two-goal deficit at halftime to prevail 54-49.

Hosts Singapore finally managed their first win of the competition, thrashing Chinese Taipei 71-20 in captain Micky Lin's 100th international appearance.

Northern Ireland also kept their winning run going, beating the Singapore Invitational side 50-29.

PNG's next match is against the Singapore Invitational side this evening.
