Young people from villages around Niue are questioning cabinet ministers and learning the ropes in the debating chamber as part of the Niue Youth Parliament.
It is the second meeting of the Parliament since 2009.
High School and village representatives are among those selected for the sitting which takes place today in Alofi.
The government says the youth members are expected to question the ministers on their political roles and interests.
The Speaker Togiavalu Pihigia says the aim is also to expose future leaders to political processes.
