Bail has been increased in the Northern Marianas for the former Department of Public Safety deputy commissioner Ambrosio Ogumoro.

Mr Ogumoro was arrested on 15 counts of corruption.

Bail has been hiked from 5,000 US dollars to 25,000 US dollars because he is considered a flight risk.

The charges stemmed from Mr Ogumoro's alleged illegal use of DPS property such as a computer or laptop when he served as deputy commissioner or acting commissioner at the DPS.
