Georgia committed nearly 3 years ago to donate a thousand computers to the Solomons.

The first 50 were received by the government late last year with the ministry of foreign affairs deciding how they are allocated.

The school's Clive Maqiti says the computers will allow teachers to prepare and to provide access for students to research.

He says until now the school has had just the one PC.

The government says Georgia is expected to send more computers in coming months.
