Best shady snappers win trips to Fiji

8:30 am on 23 January 2015

The United Nations is encouraging young people to stand up against corruption by entering a photo competition capturing images of how they see dodgy deals.

The Manager of the UNDP's Pacific Centre, Peter Batchelor, says the aim is to help young people speak out against corruption in the Pacific.

People between the ages of 15 and 30, who live in one of the fifteen eligible Pacific Island countries, can upload images they think best symbolise corruption in their community, to the Facebook page of the Pacific Youth Council before the end of January.

Three winners will then be chosen for an all expenses paid trip to Fiji to attend a Youth Forum in the third week of February.
