The winner of a vote for the Prime Minister of Tonga is expected to be announced within the hour.
This morning a meeting of all 26 representatives was supervised by the Interim Speaker to vote between two nominees, reportedly independent Samiu Vaipulu and Democracy Party leader 'Akilisi Pohiva.
The meeting was adjourned earlier this afternoon so the successful candidate could be approved by the King.
