Sport: Manly sack Kukis league rep

Cook Islands rugby league international Zane Tetevano has had his contract ripped up by the Manly Sea Eagles after pleading guilty to domestic violence charges.

The 24 year old admitted eight charges in Newcastle Local Court last week, including two counts of common assault and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Tetevano had been training with the Sea Eagles since last month, after signing a one-year deal, but was suspended from all club duties with immediate effect on Friday.

Manly says they have informed the NRL's integrity unit of the decision, saying the club will not tolerate violence against women.
