The President of China Xi Jinping has arrived in Fiji for a three-day state visit.
Mr Xi was received by senior Fijian government officials including the Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama at Nadi International Airport and was accorded a Guard of Honour by members of the Republic of Fiji Military Force.
During his visit, President Xi will hold talks with Fiji's President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau and with senior Fijian government officials led by Frank Bainimarama.
Fiji Live online says the Chinese leader will also meet other Pacific island leaders and senior officials in Nadi and hold collective talks with them.
