Vanuatu football club Amicale FC are looking to maintain their perfect start to the OFC President's Cup tournament against Busaiteen from Bahrain.

Amicale had a comfortable first up victory against the Fiji Under 20s side on Monday, winning 3-0.

The man of that match was Australian central midfielder Panagiotis Nikas, one of the club's imports, that also include a pair of Italians and former New Zealand international defender Ian Hogg.

Nikas says the team is in a good frame of mind and believes having a few games under their belt has helped them.

"Progressively throughout all three games we've showed a lot of improvement so I think it's positive that we played on Monday. We haven't really seen too much from them - we're actually having breakfast next to them now. I know they're going to be a tactically and technically astute outfit but I think we're technically definitely good enough and I think if everyone seems to do their role to a high standard, and we have a bit of luck on our side, I think after today's game we will walk out with a positive result".
