Reporters in the Solomon Islands will soon have better access to Parliament with a new press gallery on the way.
The Director of Parliament Media, Joy Angi, told the Solomon Star the press gallery will be equipped with a phone and internet to allow reporters to do their stories from parliament while in session.
She says work on the room inside Parliament House is nearing completion, with only the phone and internet lines yet to be set up before it is ready for the opening of Parliament, following the election.
