The American Samoa Legislature has given final approval to the Government's 2015 budget.
The budget of nearly 425 million US dollars has to be signed off by the Governor before October the 1st.
The only amendment the Fono made to the final budget was to slash 65,000 dollars from the Visitors Bureau budget and reallocate that money for proposed hefty pay hikes for the Governor and his deputy.
The Governor is in line for a 47 percent pay lift to 125,000 US dollars, while the Lieutenant Governor will be up a third to 100,000.
