Family of missing man to continue search in Pago Pago

The family of the Father and son whose small plane crashed in waters off Pago Pago last week, will continue to search for their father using a private dive company.

The US Coast Guard coordinated search for Babar Suleman was called off over the weekend with no sign of the missing man.

The body of his son, 17 year old Haris Suleman was found a few hours after the crash.

David Cleary, with the Associated Underwater Services, says they will be bringing in a remotely operated vehicle, or ROV, soon to be used in the underwater search.

Mr Cleary, who has diving experience in American Samoa waters, says he's been has been given the go ahead by the family to begin the underwater search.

Mr Clearly has been on island to work on StarKist 's outfall pipe, and it's hoped the equipment can be sent from Seattle as soon as possible.
