A Fiji Board XI, featuring a number of national squad members, romped to a 119 run victory over the Korean men's team in Suva yesterday, in the first match of a two week tour.
After announcing his return to the national team last month, former Fiji skipper Joe Rika top-scored with 84 runs, while fellow opener Giles Smith also brought up his half century, as the hosts posted 169 for 4 from their 20 overs.
In reply, Korea were dismissed for just 50 runs in the 12th over, with Tagilala Rakuita the pick of the bowlers, snaring 5 for 12 off four overs.
Korea's next match is tomorrow morning against a Junior High Performance squad, followed by another Twenty20 clash against Fiji A in the afternoon.
