The Flying Fijians have made six changes to their starting line-up for Saturday's Rugby World Cup qualifying match against the Cook Islands in Lautoka.
In the forwards, Sunia Koto replaces Tuapati Talemaitoga at hooker, second-rower Api Naikitini pushes Leone Nakawara to the bench while Malakai Ravulo starts at openside flanker, with captain Akapusi Qera replacing Nemanu Nagusa at number eight.
In the backs, Nemia Kenatale is preferred to Nikola Matawalu at halfback while Watisoni Vuto and Waisea Nayacalevu come onto the wings in place of Sireli Bobo and Napolioni Nalaga.
Fiji coach John McKee says everyone is well aware of what's at stake.
"For what we're doing, what we're trying to achieve [and] where we're heading the World Cup qualification is essential but we're also developing our team and developing our game. We've got to take forward things from the previous two weeks - or three weeks if you include the Italy game - but certainly we've got to to learn some lessons from the most recent game against Samoa and improve our game for next week."
Fiji beat Italy and Tonga earlier this month before a narrow defeat against Samoa last weekend.
The Cook Islands had the weekend off after defeats against New Zealand province Thames Valley and the Blues Development side.
