Flags are at half mast today in Tonga to commemorate Prince Tu'ipelehake, who died at the weekend.
His funeral is being held today at Pelehake.
Prince Tuiepelehake, who had been a Cabinet Minister and held a number of key administrative positions in the Tonga Government, was also a rugby star who captained the Ikale Tahi for a time in the 1970s.
He had had diabetes for some time and had had both legs amputated.
