Fiji have made it three wins from three at the Pacific Netball Series after beating Papua New Guinea 59-49 in Rarotonga yesterday.

Fiji led 15-13 after the first quarter, and extended that lead to eight at the main break.

They picked up further momentum in the third quarter to lead 44 - 33.

Earlier Samoa beat the Cook Islands 51-43.

Samoa have posted two wins so far and PNG one, while the Cook Islands are yet to register a win, but will have another opportunity with each team to meet again in a second round of matches.

The top two qualify for next year's World Cup in Sydney.
