Sport: Nadolo determined to keep hot form going

6:24 am on 17 May 2014

Flying Fijians winger Nemani Nadolo feels he has finally found his feet at the Crusaders but says there is still plenty of room for improvement in his game.

The 26 year-old is one of the form players in Super Rugby right now, scoring six tries in his last four appearances, as the Crusaders have gone on a five-match winning streak.

Nadolo says when he first arrived from Japan it was quite daunting coming into the Crusaders environment, with so many All Blacks and big-name teammates.

But after getting to know everyone and getting his chance to impress on the field he's determined to kick on.

"It's sort of timing and it's always chance and opportunity. Fortunately enough mine has come - I had to wait a bit - but [I need to] make the most of my opportunities. It's immaculate the way things work down here - it's only going to bring the best out of me and you're starting to see a little bit of that in the last few weeks, which is good. But obviously, like I said, there's always room for improvement, there's always more to offer."

Nadolo and the Crusaders host the top of the table Sharks in Christchurch this evening.
