The Solomon Islands pressure group, the Malaita Ma'asina Forum, says it doubts the prime minister, Gordon Darcy Lilo, will table in parliament the Political Parties Integrity Bill.
The MMF President, Charles Dausabea, says this is because Mr Lilo led the group that opposed it when the previous government tried to push it through.
Mr Dausabea claims the prime minister won't table it in the April session because amendments to the constitution and Electoral Act will be required to follow suit.
Mr Dausabea says Mr Lilo is just playing because there is no adequate time to ascertain the amendments before Parliament will be dissolved in early September.
