Tonga A do not expect any major hiccups when their Pacific Rugby Cup campaign kicks off against Samoa A in Sydney on Tuesday.
The team had their first full training run at the weekend with local based players and ten from New Zealand and Australia.
Assistant coach Vaita Ueleni says despite the short turnaround he expects the team won't have problems gelling on the field.
"I think the most important thing here is the attitude and this is the first time Tonga has put up a Tonga A team with our best players from New Zealand and Australia being available, and also our best local boys. We have done our best and we have been talking to the players while we did the preparation in Tonga before coming over to Australia. Judging from when we first met here I think we planned the players well and they have been professional too and very good reaction from them".
