Fiji's Electoral Commission has briefed a Commonwealth delegation in Suva over the country's approaching elections.
The Commonwealth's deputy secretary-general, Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba, met the commission's chairperson, Chen Bunn Young at the commission's elections office this week.
Fiji Live reports Mr Young briefed the delegation on the progress made towards the general election, which is promised for September.
Mrs Masire-Mwamba also held talks with senior government officials and other stakeholders during her four-day visit.
Meanwhile, the Commission is expected to meet the four registered political parties tomorrow.
