The first 200 students have graduated from training schemes for unemployed youth in the capital of Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby.
The Post Courier reports that the youth employment project is being run by the National Capital District Commission with support from other bodies.
The deputy city manager, Honk Kiap, says the project aims to provide urban youth with income from temporary employment opportunities and to increase their employability.
