American Samoa immigration officials have found more overstayers working on vegetable farms during raids in the past two days.

Two Chinese nationals who have overstayed their 30 day permits have been ordered to leave the country as soon as their airfares and travel documents are secured.

Two ship jumpers have been taken into custody.

The farmers face fines of more than 4 thousand US dollars for employing the illegal migrants.

Another alleged overstayer, a Samoan national, escaped into the hills when he saw immigration officers.
