A 22 year old woman in Fiji appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court on Saturday facing a charge of murdering a Tongan mother and her baby.
Priya Darshani is charged with killing 33 year old Sisi Tuaofa Patolo and her seven month old baby - Sera Patolo, with a knife.
Fiji Live reports the accused, who is being held in custody, is also charged with the attempted murder of another 3 of Ms Patolo's children.
The children remain critically ill in hospital.
The case is to resume on the 24th of January in the Lautoka High Court.
