Papua New Guinea's Queensland Cup team have missed out on hosting English Super League champions the Wigan Warriors.
The PNG entry had been in talks with Wigan, who wanted a hit-out prior to their World Club Challenge clash against the Sydney Roosters on February 20th.
But instead the English champions will take on their namesake, the New Zealand Warriors, in Hamilton a week earlier.
