The American Samoa Government's revenue collection on taxes did well in the last three months of the fiscal year.

The treasury department reports, which cover July to September, states that Customs collected just under 6 million US dollars, for an average monthly collection of 1.96 million US dollars, just shy of their 2 million dollars monthly goal.

The Tax Office reported collecting 4th quarter revenues totaling 6.62 million for an average monthly collection of 2.20 million.

The report didn't provide a break down on individual and corporate taxes revenue collection.

Customs and Tax offices revenue collection provides the largest funding source for the local government.
