The first group of a large number of accused have appeared again in court in Tonga, in relation to the violent attack on a home in Tofoa.
They are the first of the 151 people, including 147 students from Tupou College and four adults, expected to front the Nuku'alofa Magistrate's Court over the next few days.
Matangi Tonga reports the Deputy Police Commissioner Unga Fa'aoa says they will be appearing in groups of 40.
The accused, who are all on bail, are charged with conspiracy to commit willful damage and unlawful assembly, among other charges.
The adults, including a Tupou College teacher, two bus drivers and a truck driver, are also facing charges of aiding the criminal damage.
The violent attack at the home on the night of July the 18th left a former student, Taniela Halahuni, in a coma and a Tonga College student, Daniel Mahe Junior, injured.
Matangi Tonga reports that both victims have fully recovered.
