Fiji's People's Democratic Party has submitted its financial records to the Registrar of Political Parties as required in the Political Parties Decree.
FBC News says this was confirmed by the party spokesperson, Nirmal Singh.
This brings to four the number of parties to comply with the regulations to contest elections planned for next year.
The Registrar of Political Parties Office is to verify the information.
The prime minister since shortly after the 2006 military coup, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, is yet to formalise his candidacy, but has said he is expected to win.
Penalties for failing to meet the requirements could result in imprisonment up to five years or fines up to ten thousand dollars.
