Vanuatu's education minister has decided to recall all government sponsored students from the Philippines because some have allegedly broken the law.
Bob Loughman says he has been told of the arrest of two ni-Vanuatu students on suspicion of selling marijuana in the city where they are studying.
He says they will be posted to regional academic institutions in Fiji, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.
Mr Loughman has asked the students' parents to help the government with the repatriation from the Philippines.
Our correspondent says more students have been getting into trouble since the recent death of the honorary consul, Samson Ngwele.
