The prominent Fiji NGO, the Citizens' Constitutional Forum and its CEO may appeal against their sentence for contempt of court.
On Friday the Reverend Akuila Yabaki received a three month suspended jail sentence following CCF's reprinting of an article raising concern about the impartiality of Fiji's judiciary.
He and his organisation have also been fined ten and a half thousand US dollars.
The parties' lawyer, John Apted, says the CCF and its head are looking at their options regarding an appeal.
