In Vanuatu a local newspaper reports that a 99 year old man has married.
The Daily Post says Allan Karae from North Ambae had lived happily with his wife but they had never married.
It says most of the children of their large family have passed away and the couple are caring for their 15 grand children and 50 great grandchildren.
The report says the old couple decided to tie the knot now that they feel they have lived a successful and complete family life.
Mr Karae's wife is reported to be in her 80s but that she has no birth cerfificate.
