American Samoa will compete at the Oceania Sevens tournament in Fiji later this year after Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions approved their late entry fee payment.
The fee was paid by their sponsor, Bluesky Communications as the ASRU did not have enough money to pay it by the deadline of August the 16th.
The ASRU chairman Togiola Tulafono told Samoa News the team is now ready to participate in the tournament from October the 4-5th this year and has 96 local players training for the tournament.
