Sport: Fiji's netball coach says team has room for improvement

Despite clinching a fourth straight Pacific Series title, Fiji netball coach Una Rokoura says her team still has plenty of room for improvement.

Fiji finished the tournament unbeaten after comfortable wins over Papua New Guinea, the Cook Islands and Samoa in Apia this week.

The Pearls haven't lost a match in four years of competing at the regional tournament but Una Rokoura says, with world number five Malawi visiting Fiji later this year, there are still parts of their game that need some work.

"Working our transitional plays -that is something that we've been trying to train up in the last three days. Turning over balls, utilising our turnovers from defence into attack so that has always been a loophole for our team and that is something that we need to go back home and make sure we fine-tune as we prepare for Malawi in November."
