Nauru says it may open an embassy in Kuwait after the two countries established diplomatic links this week in New York.
Nauru's representative at the UN Marlene Moses says both countries can co-operate at bilateral and international levels in many domains and achieve great results.
She says her governnment's top priorities are climate change and development.
Ms Moses says she would welcome Nauru opening an embassy in Kuwait.
