Papua New Guinea have been outclassed in their final one-day cricket match in New Zealand before heading home.

After winning the toss and opting to bat, Northern Districts 'A' piled on the runs.

Opener Anton Devcich had the misfortune of being run-out on 99, while Jono Hickey added 117 in the home side's imposing total of 343 for 9.

The only bright spot for the Barramundi's being a five wicket haul for Norman Vanua, albeit at nearly eight runs an over.

In reply, PNG opener Lega Siaka reached 100 before being run-out.

Chris Kent was the next best with a handy 33 but, while the visitors managed to bat out their 50 overs, they couldn't keep pace with the run-rate and finished on 221 for 5.
